Privacy Notice

Last updated August 13, 2026

Information you provide

When you contact us, we may receive the contact details, product selections, quantities, specifications, destination, and message that you choose to provide. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, prepare documentation, confirm availability, and arrange shipping.

How the website uses local storage

The quote cart and a limited inquiry history are stored in your browser so the website can preserve your selections. Contact email addresses are not included in the locally stored inquiry history. You can clear this information through your browser settings at any time.

Inquiry delivery and third-party services

WhatsApp and email links open services operated by their respective providers. Submitting an inquiry through the website may send information to AoTide for follow-up. WhatsApp messages are delivered via Meta Platforms, Inc. Use of those services is subject to their own privacy practices. We do not control how those providers process your information once a message leaves our site.

Communications consent (TCPA / CAN-SPAM / CASL)

If you provide a phone number or email, you agree that AoTide may contact you using that channel to respond to your inquiry. You may opt out of marketing or follow-up communications at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or contacting us at the address below. We honor U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM, and Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) requirements for all messages we initiate.

California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to delete personal information we hold about you, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. AoTide does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, email [email protected] with the subject "California Privacy Request" and we will respond within the timeframes required by California law (generally 45 days, with permitted extensions). We will verify your identity before completing the request.

Other U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy statutes have similar rights, including access, deletion, correction, and portability. We extend the same operational practices described above to requests from those states.

International data transfers

AoTide is operated from the United States. If you submit information from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the website or contacting us, you understand that your information may be transferred to the United States, where data protection standards may differ from your jurisdiction.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

This website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The products offered are intended for adult researchers and institutional buyers.

Data retention and security

We retain inquiry records only as reasonably needed for support, order preparation, compliance, and recordkeeping. We do not sell personal information. Internet transmission is never risk-free, so please do not submit sensitive medical, financial, or account credentials through the inquiry form.

Your choices

You may ask us to correct or delete inquiry information, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. Email [email protected] to submit a request.
