1. Research-use materials

Products presented on this website are offered for laboratory research use only. They are not for human or veterinary use and are not presented for diagnostic, therapeutic, food, cosmetic, or household use. By submitting an inquiry, you represent that you are a qualified researcher or institutional buyer, and that materials will be used only in a research laboratory setting under appropriate safety controls.

2. Product information and quotations

Website descriptions, specifications, prices, documentation status, inventory, and delivery estimates are informational and may change without notice. Displayed prices do not constitute an offer to sell. Final availability, price, shipping terms, and batch documentation are confirmed by the AoTide team in writing before an order is prepared.

3. Customer responsibility and compliance

Customers are responsible for determining whether a material may lawfully be purchased, imported, possessed, and used in their jurisdiction and institution. Customers must use suitable facilities, trained personnel, and applicable safety controls. AoTide does not provide guidance on end-use suitability beyond what is stated on the product documentation.

4. U.S. export control (EAR) and sanctions screening

Some materials listed on this website may be subject to U.S. export controls under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce, or to U.S. sanctions administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). AoTide screens destinations and end users against U.S. denied-party lists and reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or condition any inquiry that cannot be cleared under these regimes. International shipments are confirmed only after export-control review and may require additional documentation, end-use statements, or import permits.

5. Shipping limitations

U.S. fulfillment is available to most U.S. addresses; certain destinations (U.S. territories, APO/FPO, P.O. boxes, and remote areas) may have limited service. International shipping is available on a quote-confirmed basis to destinations that pass export-control and carrier screening. We do not ship to embargoed countries or to destinations where the import, possession, or use of the material is restricted. The customer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, broker fees, and for obtaining required import documentation.

6. Order acceptance, cancellation, and returns

An inquiry is not an order. A binding order is formed only when AoTide issues a written confirmation referencing price, quantity, batch, and shipping terms. Because materials are research-use compounds with lot-specific documentation, confirmed orders are not cancellable once dispatched, and returns are accepted only for verified transit damage or shipping errors. Defective or damaged shipments must be reported within seven (7) calendar days of receipt.

7. Intellectual property

All website content, product photography, vial renderings, Certificate of Analysis designs, and trademarks are the property of AoTide Research LLC or its licensors. Public COA previews are shared for evaluation purposes; copying, republication, or misrepresentation of AoTide documentation is prohibited.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website and all materials are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AoTide's total liability for any claim arising from or related to an order shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. AoTide is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AoTide Research LLC, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense arising from your use of the materials, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

10. Website use

You may not attempt to interfere with the website, bypass access controls, submit malicious content, scrape the site at volume, or use the site in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others. We may suspend access to investigate suspected abuse.

11. No medical guidance

Nothing on this website is medical or veterinary advice. Product information should not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or to a purchase shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits either party's right to seek injunctive relief to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
